wireless alarm

    i'm looking to get wireless alarm system in my house . I dont know much about alarms so looking for advice on best system , or recommendation on a company . i would prefer not to pay a subscription , just once off payment ? but want decent security

    Most alarm systems can be self monitored without you having to pay a fee every year for monitoring. When choosing a installer the best place to look for one is on the PSA website as all installers of alarm systems have to be licenced by law by the PSA.

    Yes check out PSA registered companies. I work in the industry. GE security have a few versions of wireless systems that I use. Assuming you are not in the industry yourself and familar with such products, you might consider the CS250 for self installation. It comes with a reasonable manual and interface for wireless devices. Finding a supplier could be tricky. New PSA licencing issues might restrict the stockists of that panel for selling to the public. Call them and check for any restrictions/stock levels etc.

    That is a good panel but there new ATS panel is more up to date..

    Its a fine panel, not exactly user friendly, but then methinks GE yokes could be better

    Agree with you there, they are a good panel. You would think they would bring in a panel like the concord or simon that is so easy to install and program..

    The Risco panels are easy to program and very user friendly - definately worth checking out!
