    Anyone else severely disappointed by this film? It seems like they could've done so much more with the concept, and the intro credits made it seem really promising, but it didn't hold my interest at all whatsoever. Just seemed like your average bad sci-fi flick you'd flick through on a Sunday afternoon when there's nothing else to do.

    Thoughts?

    Ya, agree, barely remember the film now, it's that forgettable :D Truth be told, I wasn't sold on the concept either, but thats just me. Snooze fest, grand for 3 a.m. after a load of booze or a Sunday afternoon.

    Honestly, the film was Ghost in the Shell for idiots.

    I was setting up speaker stands while watching it..

    .. the instructions for setting it up were more exciting than the film!

    Only decent thing about it was the ending!He made a complete balls of a fairly decent comic, same as he fecked up t3, bar the ending.

    Question;
    if it's possible to shut down the entire surrogate system by holding up one sweaty nerd in an office (and really!? A multi-billion dollar industry and the apparent basis for all 1st world society is overseen by one dude in an office with low-level security?), why is it necessary for Dr. whatsisname to kill everybody, instead of you know, switching them off?
    Dumb, dumb movie. Watched it on the strength of Bruce Willis having been in several good sci-fi films (The Fifth Element, Twelve Monkeys) but I really shouldn't have bothered. :(

    I haven't seen the film, but I just don't understand why everyone would put themselves in a machine. It says for security.Surely that makes people more vulnerable since their body is just sitting in one location?
