Hi,

New issue with my laptop on start-up, after I power up I get the 'we apologies for the inconvenience' thing & I pick which mode I need.

When i start in normal mode the screen goes completely blank after the Windows XP symbol. If I start in Safe Mode I get a blank screen with safe mode in small writing in the four corners. The cursor does work but theres nothing to click on.

Any ideas on a fix & what could have caused the problem?

Have you tried last known good configuration?what were you doing before the problem started? Any newly installed software or hardware?
