Does anyone know if a Standard Fare on the Luas results in a criminal record?

i don't see a proper thread to post this in...i have paid the fine just want to know if it goes on my criminal record. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

no the gardai weren't involved, i think just the luas inspectors

I thought they called it a "standard fare", which infers to me it has not even minor "criminality" associated with it, i.e. they do not even call it a fine.

No - it will not appear as a criminal record if you have paid it within the allocated timeframe.
