    New expenses scandal?
Jaysis, I know the burds around Merrion sq. are fairly rough, but I didn't think they were that old!

Edit: Or is this about Harney?

I think I heard something like this on CNN Your Money yesterday.

Basically in 2009 a whore can make 20x the amount she can normally make holding down a regular job

in 1509 she could make about 200x the amount she could normally make.

The biggest change there was the sexual liberation movement and the sharp and steady decline of pre-marital taboo. More and more people are inclined to have sex out of wedlock which is severely affecting the demand on whores/prostitutes/escorts.

why someone would need to pay 60k to research this though? I have no fecking clue. But I hope it involves a street corner and a poor med student.

that's the point. government won't help sick children, yet they'll shell out for this, john o'donohoe's hats, and a fcuking harp shaped bridge.2

A harp-shaped bridge sounds like an AWESOME waste of funds.

No, I'm serious here. We need more extravagant, completely useless pieces of engineering/art. IDC if it could buy some more hospital beds, sometimes you can't put EVERYTHING into hospital beds.
