Thanks, had a quick look at it..

Have found the Fusion 'dublinbikes' to be great, with the scroll/zoom/pan map and the pins.

The 'abikenow' app seems good for saving favourites but not that impressed with the rest of the interface.

abikenow app is one buggy piece of sh1t.

Has anyone tried Dublin Bikes on Layar? I've not got a phone capable of it yet.

AllBikesNow seems to be the more up to date version of the abikenow app. I'm not sure why they didn't just stick with one name and update that (they're both official JCD apps), but I will say the the AllBikesNow app works much better on my iPhone 4 than the older one did. I never managed to get my hands on the unofficial Dublin Bikes app, so can't compare it to that.

That's strange, it's working fine for me. What hardware/software combination are you using? If you have a different model to me, maybe that's why they still have two different apps, one for each set up?

I downloaded Dublin Bikes when it came out first, not deleting it ever! Such a great app for getting details on the different stations.

Dublin Bikes 2 Go is a cross platform webapp that should work from any phone.
On iPhone and Android the site can use the phones GPS data to find the nearest station, plus zoomable maps.

Or you could visit the mobile-optimised web site http://www.dbikes.com/

At the time of writing it seems to stuck, and hasn't update since Sunday, but it's normally very reliable.

I just downloaded this app and it can't seem to find where I am. Is state's it needs to know my current location. After I hit 'ok' it says undefined. the screen then goes white and I can't get any response from it.

Any ideas? I'm on Ios 4.3.3. would love this app to work use the bikes regularly.

Are location services turned on in the settings? If not, that's the problem, if they are, try deleting the app and reinstalling. (Also, I'm assuming you are using an iPhone and not an iPod Touch, which doesn't have gps afaik.)
