tbh i was driving one aswell. 1996 and i thought it was something else to pull. this one was turbo and possibly opened up a small bit. the field was a different story though as it just couldnt get grip (new tyres).

    this is non turbo
when u meet a hil on road u have drop down the gears say down frm 8 to 5 anyway on small hills with ten tons behind

also the tractor sways from back to front when at full speed the trailer has sprung draw bar an all i ws thinking if i put more air in tires the bck of tractor coulnt bounce

anything without a turbo can be dead enough. there not my cup of tea at all. the bastaards can get very hot easily

bought one about 2 weeks ago she is turbo some machine to pull but i imagine with 10 ton she probably sway a bit , are the right tyres on the back if oversized might make the sway worse ,they would not b the heavest of tractors, mines on a diet feeder so life should b handy for her

A neighbour has an 8340 which was way down on power this year. The exhaust was banjaxed on it and this was sending the exhaust fumes into the air breather resulting in no power.

I thought all the NH 40 series would have gone for scrap by now?
