MAIN EVENT: TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Samoa Joe vs. Daniels vs. champion "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles

    tp1.jpg

TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The Motor City Machine Guns vs. champions The British Invasion

    tp2.jpg

While Styles vs. Daniels vs. Joe won't be anywhere near as good as Unbreakable, I'm still looking forward to it. Good to see The Guns get a tag title shot and Wolfe vs. Angle will probably be added aswell and that should be a classic. And Homicide vs. Red might happen aswell (that's just speculation by the way).

For those that haven't seen the Unbreakable Three Way:

The fact that those two matches are booked at all, is a great, great thing for TNA. It's about time the Guns got a shot on a big show- let's hope it leads to a more consistent role.
They still have some ways to go to rebuilding the X-division title though, and a run of several PPV singles matches, without switching the belt would be good start. Combined with Nigel/Angle, this event seems fresh at the very least, and potentially very satisfying.

For the first time in a long-time, I'm excited to see a TNA show.

Joe/Styles/Daniels, MCMG getting a title shot, Nigel/Angle and Homicide/Red would make me genuinely excited for a TNA PPV for the first time in forever.

It's four years later and Joe doesn't work nearly as aggressively and intensely as he used to. It'll be great bordering on excellent and it should be TNA's best main event of the year but, in my opinion, it won't be as good as Unbreakable. I'm really looking forward to this one, fair enough we'll have to get through Lashley vs. Steiner (though I've forbidden myself from saying a bad word about Steiner ever again) but the show should offer a lot more good than bad.

If Red vs. Homicide is put on (which it logically should be, but we all know that doesn't matter at times with TNA) they should tear the house down.

A quick glance at Joe's belly is one reason.

i know joe was never in good shape but watching that video makes me relaise how bad his shape has gotten lately

I'm not pleased with that main event. I thought AJ winning the belt might act as a catalyst that would freshen up TNA booking. Instead, we're being given a match that has already happened. Besides, Daniels and Joe have hardly been on winning streaks that would at least give this match credibility.

Looks like we'll be getting a replay of the Jake Roberts vs Rick Rude feud with Lashley vs Steiner.

I'm struggling to think how they can best use Matt Morgan. A match against Hernandez could tear the house down.

    TNA = ROH circa 2006.

    Which is fine by me.

I don't really see a problem with offering a Styles vs. Daniels vs. Joe main event. Fair enough, the other two aren't the best challengers but the last time it happened was three and a half years ago, so it's not exactly stale. Future TNA main event will probably be AJ vs. Angle, Joe and Wolfe so while not all are original matches, they're all relatively fresh feuds.

TNA are showing much, much bigger strides in terms of pushing new talent than WWE. I'd say Morgan will face either Rhino or EY.

MCMG get a title shot and AJ Styles is the TNA World Champion and is in a main event that does not include Nash, Sting etc. Already I am more interested in this PPV than I have any other TNA PPV in the last two years.

So who is attacking Styles? Joe or Daniels?

I kinda sense a heel turn for Daniels

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,510 ✭✭✭Tricity Bendix

Looked like Daniels. It'll make the match far more interesting if it was.

I think they need to give Daniels and Joe some convincing singles wins to make both look strong. I mean, does anyone watching seriously think Daniels could walk out the champ?

As i havent got Bravo 2 and i notice Virgin 1 are now showing Impact, will they be showing this? Would like to see it

Added on iMPACT! was Red vs. Homicide for the X-Title.

I'm guessing Steiner/Lashley and Young/Hernandez/Morgan/Rhyno (some form of match) will also be added at some stage

I'd imagine Young will have some kind of match with Nash, maybe with Beer Money and Bashir and Kiyoshi involved.

I read that he was suspended for the next iMPACT! tapings so they could still have EY build the match until the PPV.

After reading impact spoilers Styles is attacked again and both Joe and Daniels are in the ring so could be
    Tomko
his name was mentioned on another board

The title has been renamed the Global title with EY refusing to defend it on American soil or against an American.

I think that's kinda the point.

Exactly right. It's to get EY more over as a heel. The belt is a joke anyway, it's not a real belt (because Booker "brought it into work one day" :D)

TNA have had an awful run of PPVs this year but I quite enjoyed Bound For Glory. I'm actually looking forward to this PPV; everything except the women's matches and Lasher's should be good.

I really hope Joe steps up his game....it's so sad to see him now (actually it was sadder with his Nation of Violence "tatanka" get-up) but hopefully this one will pull it out.

Why exactly did TNA mention Hulk Hogan if he's not gonna appear on TNA TV anytime soon? It completely overshadows the focus of the new storylines/guys they're trying to push.

Poor ol' Morgan, doesn't get to do a full programme with Angle... Although I'm really happy McGuinness is getting a go... I can't help wondering it's far, far too soon. That's the problem with TNA, they splurge on ideas too quickly, and move on.

Oh, the rumour is that it's TOMKO that's attacking AJ. Poor ol' AJ...Getting the "Jeff Hardy" 1st world-title storyline...he looks so undeserving and weak

I can't wait til Hogan comes out and Russo gets the boot. He can hardly do a worse job!

PS, do the MMG have herpes or something? Here's their PPV match pic :D

    Here's a full preview I did: http://www.ifight365.com/2009/11/tna-turning-point-preview-and-predictions/
    TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles vs. Daniels

While I don’t think this match will come anywhere near as good as the Unbreakable match was (though I’d have no problem being proven wrong) this should be the best TNA main event this year, though that’s not saying too much as TNA main events haven’t been too good this year. Daniels and Joe aren’t the best contenders either as Joe is off the back of recent losses to Bobby Lashley and Amazing Red while Daniels hasn’t won a meaningful match pretty much since his return in April. But I have enjoyed the build up, the way Joe has driven the wedge between Styles and Daniels has been very well executed. Styles would be the logical choice for the win as he has a ready made feud with Angle, plus feuds against his mystery attacker, Desmond Wolfe, Joe again and even Morgan and Hernandez in the future all have the more potential than Joe or Daniels against all of them. Winner: AJ Styles

    CHALLENGE MATCH
    Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe

This is an interesting one as Wolfe needs to win to properly establish himself and if Angle is facing AJ next month as he implied before there would be no point of him losing the month before. TNA have done a fantastic job introducing Wolfe and the win over TNA’s biggest name would do him wonders but if they didn’t put Morgan over Angle I really can’t see them putting Wolfe over Angle. Ideal result is probably a time limit draw with Wolfe looking stronger. This helps Wolfe look better than Angle but it doesn’t hurt Angle too much going into next month. It is the match I’m most looking forward too and it should be an awesome match. Winner: Time Limit Draw

TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Motor City Machine Guns vs. British Invasion vs. Beer Money

While I was actually looking forward to The Guns getting a two on two title shot (and it’s great that they’re finally faces again, for now) but I have no problem with Beer Money added. These are three really good teams and I’m hoping for a really good, faced paced match here that’ll prove that tag team wrestling is still alive in major companies. The Guns and Beer Money are better challengers for The British Invasion than champions so I’m going for British Invasion to retain. Winners: The British Invasion

    REVENGE MATCH
“The Boss” Bobby Lashley vs. “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner

This match won’t be pretty and they should even try to make it pretty. This should be an all out brawl considering the emotional nature of the feud but Lashley isn’t the best at conveying emotion through both promos and wrestling. It shouldn’t be horrible but it won’t be great. I’m actually not sure where Lashley goes from here with Angle as a face. Winner: Bobby Lashley

    X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

    Homicide vs. The Amazing Red

This is a sleeper for match of the night. If these two are given fifteen minutes they could absolutely tear the house down especially with Don West at ringside (he has done an excellent job of whipping the crowd into a frenzy during recent Amazing Red matches). TNA really have to get behind the X-Division as it’s what put TNA on the map and it’s really been in a state of flux over the last year or two. Winner: The Amazing Red

    6 SIDES OF STEEL MATCH
    Awesome Kong vs. Tara

This was a sort of dream match a few months ago but Tara’s star has fallen a lot over the last few months. Why this is a cage match I’ll never know, surely it should be a singles match this month building to a cage match next month but I digress. For me Kong is the best female wrestler in the world and Tara is pretty darn good herself so I’m hoping for an excellent match here that puts the WWE Diva’s (and some recent Knockouts efforts) to shame. Kong is more suited to a feud with ODB so she should win and go on to take the title off ODB. Winner: Awesome Kong

TNA KNOCKOUTS TAG MATCH: ALL TITLES ON THE LINE
The Beautiful People vs. Sarita, Taylor Wilde & ODB

The thought of Lacey Von Erich holding the Knockouts title makes me throw up a little in my mouth, she is really, really terrible. I actually like ODB as champ, she’s a great character. I can’t see The Beautiful in their current form taking any titles so Sarita, Taylor and ODB all retain. Winners: ODB, Taylor Wilde and Sarita

SIX MAN TAG TEAM STREET FIGHT
Team 3D & Rhino vs. Matt Morgan, Hernandez and D’Angelo Dinero

Even though Dinero was only thrown in at the end, this match has been well built up with the Rhino conspiracy theory and it’s good to see Rhino being relevant again. This should be a fun 3D style arena wide brawl which is just a vehicle to keep Hernandez and Morgan relevant and possibly to give Dinero a much needed face turn (the crowd are reacting way too well to him for him not to be pushed as a face). Hernandez, Morgan and Pope should be pimpin’ their way to victory. Winners: Hernandez, Pope and Matt Morgan

On paper, this is TNA’s best card this year. Packed with potentially excellent matches this should be a superb PPV if TNA Creative just let the wrestlers do what they do best without any added extras, ref bumps or run ins.

I would like to see Wolfe take out angle in the match so it gives Angle time off and then come back into a feud with Wolfe kinda thing.
Hope Lacey gets the boot from TNA asap she is horrendous , i was watching the 8 woman tag match and when she got in the ring she looks so awkward compared to the rest of the women.

As Machismo said it looks good on paper and the fact there is no Nash or Foley on the cards .

He's a hell of a lot more relevant now than he was six months ago and if used right Rhino can add a lot to TNA. TNA could have thrown on a ninth match with something like Foley and Abyss vs. Stevie and Raven but I'm happy they didn't as that would have been too many matches on the show.

its against the boards charter to link to streams, even asking for them can usually (has previously) lead to infractions but ill assume you dont know this and not act now... and yes we know the soccer board etc dont have to follow such rules but the copyright issues are different.
