    Hi lads,

Im looking to fit speakers in the rear doors of a MK4 Golf. Where would be the best place to buy a decent set and how much would I be looking at paying for them? Dont really want to shell out for them in Halfrauds, do Autofactors sell them?

BTW Im in Waterford so if anyone knows a good place to buy them here would be apprieciated.

Also how do I go about wiring them up as theres no wires their at present.

If you really wanna save money doing this. Visit your nearest scrapyard.
Have a good look around find a car with nice pair of speakers and take them. Also strip out a good bit of wiring loom(to reconnect them in your
own car). Have done this myself in the past. €20 cost me for a pair of speakers. Good luck.

Meant to say as for wiring up. Use your long lenght of loom wire
run it under the carpet or along the door rubber and the carpet.
Masking tape and a straighten out coat hanger will help.(tape your
new speaker wire to the top of the coat hanger).
As for wiring up. Take it you have the standard two ISO block
connection radio. One block contains the live/power usually the brown
    block it'll have a red,yellow and black(earth)wire.
Now try one wire at a time in the other block. You should hear
some sound in your rear speakers. Take your time and have fun.:D
