Coincidentally, the worst hangover I ever had, I woke up on a couch and had no idea how I got there. It took two days to properly shake, and it took two hours including a Subway and a bus trip to realise I had sick on my t-shirt, and another few minutes after that to realise that it was 100% my sick.

The worst part of a really bad hangover, worse than the dying, is trying to figure out what EXACTLY you did... need to know that before you can move into damage limitation.

One of the more terrible hangovers I had was when I didn't drink alcohol... I thought to myself, "I have to be up at 6:30am, I won't drink" so I went down to the mess in the curragh, drank a few cans of coke and oh my christ, I was dying the next morning. Smokes + sugary drinks = bad hangover :)

Another night I drank nothing but red bull, about 8 or 9 cans, next morning I felt like death. I never drink that crap normally...

Best thing is sleep, then a fry :) Oh I can't wait for my fry in the morning...

Sausages, rashers, black and white pudding, mushrooms, a tomato and 2 poached eggs... oh and some fried courgette :)

Yeah I get horrific diet coke hangovers when I'm out and not drinking, I'm all shaky and dehydrated the next day, it's awful! Rarely get regular hangovers though.

How did you go about working that out?!

(Do I even want to know ...)

I still feel hungover from from Friday night. In fairness I was so drunk I was running around my apartment waving my willy in people's faces. But a two day hangover... I'm starting to feel old.

Oh back in the rich days myself and a mate loaded up on a few pints in Malahide, then went around the Cruzo's and went through six bottles of bubbly at €90 a pop.

Seriously, we were sitting on the balcony over the marina contemplating which yacht to buy :D

Hangover's, they only came when the bubble burst.

Jeeze, those were the days - when we lived like kings & we thought it would never end.

Worst hangover I ever had was after a long party which started on 20th September 1988 and ended May 2nd 1992. When I came to my senses I really didn't know how I got there, how I made it through, and after weeding out my friends from the motley crew I hung out with, it was a no-brainer where to go from there. Life is good...:)

I'm still in bits since Friday, haven't been out of bed yet.
The worst part is the initial five minutes after waking up, 'what did i say and who did i say it to'.

My worse hangover was.........blahblahblah who gives a flying fuck!

Yep the worst part is definitely the 'What the hell did I do...'

How many of you have woke up like that and swore never to drink again?

And what's worse is you desperately want to figure out what you did, but your brain is nowhere near ready for that level of thinking.

I've had 1 hangover in my life. And it was after a nite of drinking nothing but sambuca at my sisters going away party in '04. I started 1 fight in the niteclub and another outside it. Was like someone else had taken control of my body. I'm not a violent person at all but this stuff totally messed up my system. And the pain the next morning, oh jesus. Just looking at a bottle of Romana or Vaccari now makes my stomach turn. Never touching the stuff again, its the devil's poison.

Half a bottle of Mickey Finns, 5 bottles of Smirnoff ice and half a litre of Kinsey vodka.....I was hungover for a week. Lesson learned...the hard way:(

I rarely get hangovers but there was one which I will never forget
Went to Captain as for a few cocktails after college at bout 5oclock then back to mine for some poker and a few drinks.. all innocent enough. Til at bout 3am when bottle of hennesy came out as the forfeit for the loser of cards.. We started playing ****head/switch and my luck turned, me being the stubborn beatch that i am downed at least four giant shots of the crap that had been in my cupboard for at least 15 years (was given as a present at a funeral and i just took it with me when i moved outta home just in case we may need it one day)

Three days it took me to recover. And I will never touch/smell/look at brandy again.

I don't get hangovers. It's nice. The trade-off, however, seems to be a complete lack of memory of the events of the previous night.
