Looking at Taylor Made Burner with a 60g Fujikura RE*AX Superfast - Stiff graphite shaft, what range of swing speeds would this be sutiable for?

Sorry, I should have said that is a Stiff shaft.

But I noticed that the TM Stiff did not feel as still as some other stiff brands.

I find a high kick point shaft will feel a little more active than a low kick point one. Maybe that's why it seems less stiff than others...

Personally I've found all the branded shafts tend to be similar, R ~ up to 90mph, S 90-100mph, X 100+

it's a bit of a range of speeds covered. Custom fit is obviously best.

Its so hard to say because one manufacturer stiff shaft would be anothers regular. I have swung loads of clubs over the years and am usually in stiff range of swing speeds. ( around 95 to 98 mph an hour when last measured). Now this is a personal observation and it is that most players tend to play with a shaft thats too stiff. A mate of mine (14hcap) was complaining about how he couldnt hit his 3 wood. When I had a look at it it had a prolaunch blue shaft whuich felt like a steel bar to me. He has a slower swing speed than mine which would be obvious to anyone looking at us both swing. He changed to a taylor made 3 wood with a regular shaft and the difference was just massive. Got the ball up in the air, better distance and control.
When I buy clubs I ALWAYS try before I buy. Personally I love a lightweight stiff shaft. Cobra clubs and shafts have always been good to me but I dont get on with taylor made clubs at all. Many of my mates play with Taylor made though and they make good sticks.
My advice would be get your swing speed measured or try the club in both shafts before you buy. Most club pro shops will tape up a club and let you out on the course with it.
