Typical - another weekend of wind and rain. Sligo is going to slip into the atlantic if this continues.

Anybody know where i could get a set of hand warmers - the ones you microwave or boil in hot water before you go out. Saw one in m and s in liffey valley 2 years ago but have not seen any since.

I suffer badly with cold hands and always have to use the disposable hand warmers under mitts.

    any help appreciated

Just make sure you don't artificially warm your balls!

Have't seen them over here but here's some from Directgolf.co.uk for £3.99!

I got some in a local chemist. Hotpods they were called. The gel ones with the the little plastic disk inside.
A good tip is wrap them in a cloth and put them in a pot of gently simmering water for about 15mins before you leave to play. They become very soft and very hot which lasts for over an hour or more usually. Then when they cool you crack the disk and they solidify and become hot again! Get another hour maybe out of them 2nd time around.
Couple these with a good pair of thermal mits and your sorted.
Now I agree boiling them is a pain but it beats cold hands in my book.
Finally when you simmer them from solid you must let them go totally jelly or they wont activate on their own and will just harden up in your pocket.
