    best...theme tune...ever.

    i f*cking loved this show.

sorry this just came into my head now, so apologies for the slightly off-topic comment, but the other show nobody ever seems to remember is Phileas Fogg: Around The World in 80 Days.

the glory days of childrens' TV.

Remember them both (i think the second one was called 'around the world with willy fogg' ). Hated them both. Pisspoor animation and bloody annoying voices. They were knocked out on the cheap by some spanish tv company if I remember correctly, the same one that coproduced that interminable 'once upon a time - life' thing that seemed to run for about 15 years while I was younger. Horrible sh#te altogether. (Sorry for wreckin y'alls nostalgia buzz, but they really were awful cack!)

Well if it's okay for a Cork man with a hurl, then it's okay for a French dog with a sword.

We need more children's tv shows about armies of dogs propping up corrupt and exploitative régimes.

Tolerating a few nostalgic minutes on youtube is one thing, but I reckon you'll be doing well if you get 5 minutes into the first episode of the first dvd without feeling an enormous sense of "Jaysus, what was I thinking buying a whole series of this?" style buyers remorse. :D

I saw an episode recently, and I stand by my opinion that these cartoons are annoying, unwatchable, poorly made, badly voiced sh#te. Still, Different strokes for different folks and all that. Enjoy your dvd. :)

Thanks for that, in my head now. Loved it, think it was CITV and Dangermouse was on shortly afterwards.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.
