I started taking Dianette for acne around two weeks ago. I have already noticed some weight gain and it is really getting me down.Because i've only been on it such a short amount of time im worried i will still gain more.I am 17 years old, eat healthily, and exercise regularly.Even over the last 4 days i have had a nasty cold and a bit of a tummy bug so i haven't eaten alot in fact very little but my stomach is still really big and bloated. Will the weight gain level off?Im so scared i will keep on getting bigger and bigger but if it levels off i can work hard to get rid of it.

Some honest advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think the best advice anyone can give you here is to get in contact with your GP/dermatologist, they can give you the best advice for your particular case.

You could very well be suffering from the side effects of the drug.

If you are seriously worried, the first step is to bring it up with your doctor as soon as possible. I would strongly advise against taking any medical advice from users given their likely lack of qualifications or knowledge of your medical history. :)

We can't give medical advice here, I'm afraid.

The best thing for you to do is go see your GP as soon as possible - discuss your concerns about weight gain (and any other possible side effects) and they'll give you the advice you need.
