    I am a 3rd year Mechanical Engineer in College. For my final year project I am designing and building a wind turbine, I dont know alot of information on this subject. Does anyone have information on this or know where i can get information such as:

    Sizing the tail fin
    Blade design
    Where i can go to see turbines being designed/manufactured
    Any formula(s)
    etc...

    All the information you need is on this forum...but be warned, do not ask endless questions, most of the questions you could possibly ask have already been answered.

    You can search the forum. If you need information do a search.

    Best of luck with your design, I have made a small turbine that runs my garden lights(leds) and am now in the process of making a larger one to run my external security light.
