    Ok let me firstly give all the reasons why Meteors 3G is amazing::D

    + The Dongle Cost €24.99 because I'm a student
    + The speeds are are always 4.5+ Meg Download and 1 Meg Upload.
    + The coverage is Galway City is great
    + The Meteor staff both in shop and on the phone have been extremely helpful
    + The Supplied Dongle works PERFECTLY on Win7 x64
    + Torrents work a dream
    + It's faster than my DSL at home
    + Your own (seemingly static) IP

    And my only dislikes are::mad:

    -The Latency (~120ms but I know this is a weakness in 3G technology and not Meteors service)
    -5 GB Cap

    Now my problem is that I have had the broadband for about 3 weeks (Yes thats right Huwei had the Win7 Drivers ready WELL before the release date) and I have run into my dismal 5GB cap.

    What can I do now? Can I top up again and get more bandwidth or what?

    Buy a second one , your cap is monthly and will not reset till the next month , if you run 2 of them you get 10gb a month ...seems you need it. Even I am considering sending a student in to get one for me cos 5gb a month would do me fine :)

    Course it is good, they have bugger all customers in Galway as they only launched in september.

    Ah not to worry. We students are too drunk to be on boards, I am just in the position of being ill and unable to consume vast quantities of alcohol at this time!

    By my reckoning the service will be ****e in GALWAY by January. Meteor only have around 20 sectors live in the city so if they sign up 300-400 customers they will be as bad as anyone else . They will manage this by January now you told everybody in Galway how good it is .

    The Golden Rule of 3G is that IF it is any good then you should tell NOBODY about it.

    A sector on a mast can only deliver a stonking service to about 5 customers and thereafter it rapidly heads for ye olde page not found style service.
