Recommendations for MP3 Players

I am interested in buying a high quality MP3 / MP4 player with good radio and video facilities.

Not as well up on this stuff as I used to be.

Not able to afford the exorbitant Apple prices. Can spend circa 120-130 euro.

Any recommendations out there.

jimd2, just to warn you, .aac and .m4a (mp4) support can be a bit ropey with non Apple players, just make sure you're getting something that suits you!

Sandisk Sansa players are fine, they're quite flexible, but no .mp4 support, but they're just drag and drop. Most Xtra-Vision branches should have a selection on view. Shop around, prices vary a fair bit from shop to shop..

Cowon and iRiver are other brands to think about too. Again, prices go up and down from retailer to retailer, do your homework first.

Another way to 'roll your own', to get a player that plays everything. Go to the 'Rockbox' site and see what players are supported, choose one you like and buy one second hand and flash it with the Rockbox firmware.
