Looking for a laptop which is small and light enough to be brought around but it also needs to have a dvd-drive.

Found some €700+ options wondering if there's anything else going about?

    Cheers

Dell Vostro 1220 or 1320? They are small and light, with decent build quality for the price. Should be able to pick up a decent spec for around €600.

The acer timeline series come in a 13", 14" and 15". They're light and have up to 8 hours battery life. The processor is relatively poor on it though. You should be able to find a model under €600.
