I dont think anybody sang it, I think it was featured as background music a few times!

Edit: Interview with them in the Daily Mail yesterday, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1222320/X-Factor-Were-terrified--Westlife-scared-stiff-follow-Robbie-Whitney-cursed-slot-Sundays-.html

''Simon has also ensured the new single What About Now is already recognisable for X Factor fans by featuring it several times as background music on the show.''

they've always been a cover band. although i did hear an interview with them and they said the rest of their new album is all original stuff.

Wow, another cover version, surprise surprise. How are they allowed get away this all the time?
Also, they are not a band, they are a group.
A band plays instruments and write their own songs.

Just thought everyone should know that What about now is the only cover on their new album. I'm a massive Westlife fan and tbh I'm a bit peed off because they said all along that their comeback single would not be a cover...

Westlife were a fair embarrassment to themselves last night on the Late Late.
When Turbidy did a joke about their new album and "one for everyone in the audience" ,Cian Egan corrected him saying "not quite". They wouldn't even give away a few cd's,tight fe*kers.

Well everyone knows that Kian's a bit of a d**k! I'd say it was more the fact that it's just been released and they want to sell as many copies as possible! It was a bit unfair of Tubridy anyway because some people in the audience seemed to believe him!

I'm sorry to have to say this:(, but Jedward are more entertaining than that manufactured shower of unoriginal plonkers.

I disagree with you and I could give you a million reasons why, but I really do not want to start a fight!

S Club Spice Boys. It amazes me how many people fall for the post production-line hype and go on to worship unoriginal and talentless clones.
