Being honest I don't think I'm going to my grad, weird I know...

I think from what I've heard it's a formal affair, full length dresses, suits ect...

I take for granted your talking about the ball that will be on in Santry. I think as well you are allowed to take one person with you. All ticket information ect is on the ditsu website.

As for the actual grad itself, is it compulsary you go?? This is what I'm wondering cos I've no one to go with me as regards family ect!

Nothing's compulsory but it is nice to graduate with your class etc.

think you's are mixing up the conferring ceremony with the ball.

conferring ceremony you sit in a cathedral for two ass numbingly boring hours.
grad ball you have a meal, get drunk and wait for someone to puke all over your good suit just like the debs.

i went to my conferring cermony and we went out afterwards it was a good night.
i won't be going to the ball as it's the debs all over again and it's way too expensive.

    100 for tickets (50 x 2)
    90 for a room
100 for drinks for you and date.

the guts of 300 euros for one ****e night, christ i could nearly get flights and accommodation to a european city for that price.

OMG when you put it like that is really is expensive plus taking into account dress, make-up, tan etc...! But i still want to go to have the memories and to find out what kind of jobs my classmates have got! :p
is there any girls out there def going and if so what kinda dress are ya wearing?? i'm dying to know!!!
