Hi guys, I'm new to both the forum and the sport.
Are there any decent driving ranges and pitch and putt courses around dublin? Anyone any recommendations?

At Elmgreen, Dublin 15, theres a driving range and a pitch and putt course right beside it.

At the Spawell Templeogue there's a good range and a par 3 course beside it

I was under the impression the Spawell had closed down, maybe someone could confirm?

No, the range and the golf shop are still open. As far as I know the restaurant, nightclub and snooker club have closed down.

theres also newcastle golf range & par 3, fairly straight forward course. very open, holes are from about 60yds-180yds as far as I remember.

For P&P Bohernabreena is a nice little course in Tallaght.

There are plenty more, that I can't think of now off the top of my head.

Newcastle is a nice little range in the summer. There's indoor bays, grass bays, chipping and pitching greens, putting greens and par 3 golf course. Good value too, huge bucket of balls for €9. They've got some decent new mats too which are good, not sure what the fllodlights are like for winter though

Stepaside & Leopardstown both have good driving ranges.
Stepaside has a pitch n putt/par 3 course and Leopardstown has a fullsize course (and short game practice area)
