Well, we had a miscarraige at 10 weeks in September. It was sad and we still feel down a lot of the time. We are going to try again but are obviously apprehensive about it. My wife and I are both 38 and in v. good health. This would be our first child. I guess our biggest fear is another m/c and/or time running out. Thankfully we have no other real life worries at the moment. Is it any more difficult to concieve after a m/c at our age? We were only really trying for about 2 months last time so maybe thats a positive. If anyone has any experience it would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm sorry that you've had to experience a miscarriage. Its nature being really cruel.

I had a miscarriage last November at nearly 14 weeks, toughest time of my life. We had conceived after just one month of trying and thought we were the most blessed people in the world!

Anyway, started trying quite soon after everything had returned to normal, and conceived again on my 3rd cycle after the mc. I'm now 32 weeks pregnant and so far everything is going well.

You'll be very worried when you do conceive again, but thats quite normal. Lots of people unfortunately have mc's on their first pregnancy. Just make sure that you are both physically and mentally ready to take on another pregnancy. Fingers crossed it will all work out second time around!

    Wishing you luck x

We got pregnant straight after starting trying last November but lost our baby in January at 9.5 weeks..., we then had 5 early miscarrages from April to July but we are now 15 weeks pregnant. I was pertrifed until our baby was in the second trimester (still am but less so). I am 35 but have several other medical conditions so was suprised to concieve in the first place and would not be typical.

I really wish both of you all the best.
