    Looking for Advice.
I’m interested in PMP , something like Ipod Touch but with proper file/formats support. I’m not interested in converting all my files to apple format. Mind you I do envy Ipod users for the choice of Ipod docks available for purchasing.
Really looking for Divx/Xvid/mp3 player with Wifi for web browsing and drag & drop file transfer (none of that Ipod sync nightmare…)
I was thinking Zune HD but have heard very bad reports on Zune web handling.
Another one I had in mind is Archos 5 internet tablet, apparently it runs on Android , anyone had any experience with this?
Anything else out there I don’t know about ? :)
I have Onda PMP , great device, can literally play anything you throw at it but sadly doesn’t have wifi

    Thanks in Advance!

Not going to recommend anything but just comment on the archos and ipod pmp I have. The archos is a 605 wifi 4gb, had to buy the dock and plugins (got them on ebay). Pretty good with file formats. Easy file and folder drag and drop. Plays avi over network share. Very good web radio plugin, web video not that great. Web flash video hit and miss. Browser okay, but very slow. Screen is pretty good. SDHC card slot very good. Okay battery life. Wifi connection not very seamless

Ipod touch much more useful device, apps are great, web browser great, great wifi email device, memory handling is okay, itunes is okay but not great, video conversion takes a bit of effort, okay if you think about what you might want to watch over the next few days, but not an instant copy. Good battery life. Good wifi handling

A newer archos might be the way to go, but i think it might be hard to find a device that can work as well as the ipod or provide the wide range of uses

just got the new archos 5 android the other day. Delighting with it so far. Browser is very good apart from no flash support, but that might be coming in next few months. Much better than the opera browser in the old archos versions. I got the 500gb version for about 325e delivered from hotmp3gear.com but i think the price has gone up since. I think its the best option based on what you are looking for in a pmp. It also supports mkv's but its hit or miss at the moment if the play ok or stutter. Processor probably isnt good enough for high bitrate 720p mkv's. Plays xvids fine though.

    Heres a video of it:

Ignore the guy doing the video as he's the biggest archos fanboy in the world!
