You need to be more specific about what EXACTLY your problem is...

your definition of extended trial balance is?

are you just creating a trial balance list based on your P&L and balance sheet?

I did a set of accounts so now i need to fill out the extended balance sheet, the headings are

    Opening balance - i did
    expenditure - i did
    Income - i did
    Adjustments - ?
    Creditors - i did
    Debtors - i did
    Profit & Loss - ?

i think your trying what i mentioned.

P&L balance will just be your opening balance

The profit/loss for THIS year does not appear as an item on the face of the TB since its just the diff between your income and expenses (which are all listed)/

hope that helps, otherwise I dnt knwo wot u mean. Im assuming you are in secondary school right?
