Indoor CQB Cork

Hi guys

I just want to see if there is any interest in an indoor CQB in Cork? There is one hopefully opening in couple of weeks just I wanted to get a bit of a heads up to see if/who would be interested? Its an old warehouse approx 110 metres by 70 ish..

Id be interested but im screwed transport wise at the moment and for the foreseeable future (unless i get my full license next Thursday..... )

Pretty much City Centre down the Quays. Will hopefully have pictures to show if ok with the mods but guessing cos of the bank holiday could be after the long weekend. I thinking at the minute could be just one night a week, thats the main reason of this thread to get some feedback and intrest in.

P.S. IF it does open and get the go ahead Ill be more than happy to collect people and drop off within certain distance!!

Cool, that should rock.

With the place being that size and in the city centre the rent must be amazingly high. I'm looking forward to having a go of an indoor site that size. Twud be cool!

Just so you know (no offence meant) it isn't mine I dont have a clue what the rent is or exact sizing. Thats just my off the head guestimate of the size of the place. Obviously some of it is off limits game wise- changing, safe zone etc etc but Im sure I can post more details once its in the retailers section. This as I stressed before is just a feeler/sniffer to see who would be interested. the size mentioned is the size of the building not the actuall play area! Sorry if your misunderstood but until its in the retailers section i dont want to "step on any toes" or anything. Be good craic having Dub's versus Rebels though??;) Sure we could put you all up for the night after a night out!!:P

No toes have been stepped on dude, sounds great and I can't wait to get some provincial indoor games going. Dublin, Galway and now Cork. We can arrange some cool stuff between them.

What beats a cold winter evening than running round a sweaty old room shooting ya mates then having a pint?
Watching Desperate Housewives with the wife* maybe, but that means something else non man/gun/car/engine related will be on telly after it so you have to go out and dress up and shoot someone..

*-Unless you are the wife and love Airsoft(thats my non confliciting bit there) Sure Firekitten will correct me on Political Correctness.. xx

Sounds like a great idea. Would love a site closer to Cork city.
Any idea when its opening?

If your involved in the set up or know the lads who are, i'd be willing to lend a hand for the donkey work.

if you do go ahead with it just think about the lay out please dont rush to many cqb area here are like speedball think of interlocking streets with doors and windows etc real swat and room clearing and try i no its expensive but worth it in long NO tyres and pallets please red barn and hellfire are leading the way more sites need to follow them and invest anyway smoker best of luck mate:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Hi Guys/Girls,

Gonna try and answer all those here, so I am led to believe it will be opening night next wed the 4th, I THINK young guns 16-18 are welcome but need consent/waiver form signed, at this stage it will only be Wed evenings maybe 7-9 ish not exactly sure will have more info soon, I am not setting it up/have nothing to do with the layout of it but i have seen it last week in the early stages and there was a couple rooms built and a few cars and vans in there. I think it will be officially in the retailers section next couple of days as the guy who will be running it is opening the retailers thread Im just looking for interested parties at this stage.
Cheers lads for the interest I sure hope it does get the go ahead as it could make winter that little bit more bearable down in Munster!!!

UPDATE,

Site will be opening doors first game next wed the 4th. This thread will stay open for questions comments feedback etc etc and another is opening on Thursday officialy in the retailers section.
Again I must say thanks for the interest and comments all welcome and heard please keep em coming and hope to see you all in a dusty old warehouse next week!!!!!
