    It's only a starter clarinet obv..for 150euro

Will it be funto play or too cheap.

    LOL.
Way to rain on my parade.

So do you think i am as well buying one for 275€ in the music store on CApel Street, Dublin?

Will I notice the differencve as a novice?

As a novice you might not notice the difference.
But you will notice in 6 months time when the lidl toy falls to bits.
The reason they are selling some of the yamaha stuff is to give the crap they sell some credibility.
Also the lidl stuff aint that cheap.
All the yamaha stuff is as expensive in several stores Ive been to lately.
Plus as I said in another post, in 2 months time you wont be able to get any spare parts from Lidl as they just buy in a container of clarinets and once they are gone they are gone for good. No back up what so ever.

That saxophone looks to be awesome quality though.

Besides their keyboards and guitars which of course have parts literally everywhere. Wind instruments especially might be tough to find spares for. Generally though I think the instruments they sell are generally quite good.

It might be nice if you want a clarinet shaped object to hang on your wall.
However, if you plan on learning clarinet then you're best off finding a teacher first and asking their advice on an instrument to buy.

Actually I just bought the clarinet on sale in Lidl and took it to my first clarinet lessons and even the teacher said it had a great sound so I guess money doesnt ALWAYS count in the end.

I have to stand by the non-food stuff lidl sell, they are generally very well made. 99% of the time its very good stuff.

In fairness to Lidl if they don't have a replacement for stuff they sell when you bring a dud back (they don't check if it's a dud btw) they give your money back. A mate has brought back stuff he used once and knew he wouldn't use again ;)
