I have been emailed them as an attachment and been able to view them in the body of the email.

    Works very well.

i think air sharing pro does that as well as make your iphone a wireless hd. supports many file formats as well

First of all, turn on your WIFI on you iphone.
    Then open Air Sharing.
When you open Air Sharing, look at the bottom of your screen, you'll have something like the following:
    http://192.168.1.16:8080

You are going to use port 8080.

Next,on your Mac,(Desktop),click on GO,scroll down to connect to server.
Enter the http bit(eg http://192.168.1.16:8080) and then connect to server.
After that its just drag and drop.

(If it asks you for a password before connecting, then turn off "require password" in settings on Air Sharing).

Its a great little app,I use it all the time

Is your wifi on? Its supposed to detect your iphone automatically. Not 100% though coz i use Documents2. I just open my browser and type in my ip address for the iphone and im good to go
