We're booking a holiday to Orlando in June :D
Our TA has us on a flight from Dublin to Gatwick, leaving at 10.00am, arriving at 11.25am.
The connecting flight is with VA, and departs at 13.00. Is 95 mins enough time to spare for this? Both arrive and depart from Terminal S.

There is an earier flight from Dublin, at 06.40, which would leave a 5 hour window, but it may be a safer bet?

    What you guys think?

Assuming that you're on the one ticket (i.e. not booking the Aer Lingus flight seperately) then you should be fine as your bags will be checked through to Orlando so you can go directly to get your Virgin boarding pass (if not issued by Aer Lingus) and get through security. 90 minutes is probably the minimum I'd give myself for comfort in Gatwick as security there can get quite busy - especially in the mornings.

I travelled Dublin-Gatwick-Orlando in August and I booked the 6.40 flight to be on the safe side. We ended up with hours and hours to spare in Gatwick and it left an already long day even longer. The reality was that 90 mins would have been ample time in Gatwick. AS Buffybot said, your bags go straight through and personally, I found security much faster than Dublin.

If I were doing it again, I would take the later flight as we were wrecked by the time we arrived. Have a great time, i'm very jealous!
