Macbook pro 13 " as a second laptop?

    Hey,

I have a Dell XPS M1710 gaming laptop as my primary laptop and its a powerhouse...no problems with it.

However I would like to get something more portable as a second laptop to be able to pick up and bring without having to disconnect all the cables from monitor, printer etc(I use XPS as a desktop).

I've had my eye on the Macbook pro 13 " as it looks stunning and has a great build quality from what I've read and been told.

My only gripe is that its a Mac. I've never had any experience with a machine other than windows.

My question is would I find if difficult to adapt to a Mac after years of using windows for basic operations?

Also, I've a few programs like CS2 installed on my XPS, would it be possible to install a copy on the mac if I got one?...bear in mind I don't have the software cd's anymore? Is this possible?

    Thanks for any info.

    Mick

At first you will be frustrated as hell at the subtle little everyday differences there are between Windows and OS X. But after a while you'll really like the machine, and the way OS X does things. Hardware quality is top notch and the OS is very powerful. I spent about 2 years using both Windows and Mac OS, now I've been a hopelessly brainwashed Mac user exclusively for 3 years and never looked back.

Its an expensive purchase for a 2nd machine btw, but I think you get what you pay for.
