    Hi all,
does anyone know about this € 110 off a new laptop in PC World (certain models) when you trade in an old laptop. Does the old lappie have to work ??
Would be a good deal if it didn't.:)

The laptop has to turn on and have a charger as far as I know!

It's off any laptop not just certain models. The laptop has to turn on. Also it's up to €110 off. So if you have an ancient piece of crap that has a smashed screen and is held together with duct tape, I wouldn't get too hopeful for getting the full €110. :D

So an old Toshiba running Windows 98 would be ok once it boots and runs (even slowly)?

I've a dell inspiron 630m with 512 MB running xp slowly. Would that be ideal?

Both should be ok. I'd doubt you'd get much for them though.

Bump the RAM to 2gb and reinstall xp and it'll be as good as new! They'd probably give €40 for it otherwise.
