    Hello,

I need to go to a chiropodist, but have no health insurance and not sure how much I can afford.

Would anyone be able to tell me how much I could expect to pay for a consultation with one?

Scoured the net and can't find any information.

I know it probably varies, but just looking for a ball park figure.

    Thanks

A consultation is similar to a GP visit -- around 60 euro. But then if you need something done there will be different prices for that also, for instance for a mild ingrowing toenail it would be around 150 euro.

It depends on where you live, if living in Dublin €150 is probably the going rate.

But elsewhere in the country its only around €30-€80 depending on what you need done.

I went to a chiropodist a couple months ago. Hes in Sandymount.
Visit was very thorough, he also made an insole for me, right there and then. Price was great, 55euro.
If you want, I still have his number. PM me and I will be glad to send it to you.
    (have no affiliation to him)
