Mod needed - Interested?

Hi folks,

I've been modding here for over 2 and a half years now. A few months ago I realised that as I wasn't all that interested in financial markets anymore I was beginning to neglect the guardianship and up-keep of this forum. So I sought a replacement and now I think we have an excellent mod in ixus who has settled in very well and whose judgement I trust completely.

I think it's time I hand over the reins.

That's all well and good but there's one last bit of business to attend to: we need a replacement. So Investments & Markets is, again, looking for a mod. Please make suggestions here (self-nominations are welcome) about who you'd like to see modding this forum. A little bit like the last time we did this, we'll make a decision based on that.

Hi Time, Id gladly take up the job. I recommended Ixus the last time and think he's weathered in well, and still keeps us interested with his posting.

Best of luck, I'm sure everyone will miss your contribution to this forum. I hope your retirement from the investment markets is a positive one.

I'd just like to add a little to Time's post. Lately, I've been pretty busy in a new job, so haven't been as active. But this will quieten down over the next month and I hope to return to normal service then.

Personally, I'd love to see some of the more experienced/professional investors/traders come on board. If you are interested yourself, feel free to PM me and offer your services. We'll take it on board when making our decisions.

I'm happy to cover this if needed. Although I'm very interested in currency markets, I have a stong enough interest in general financial markets.

I haven't been very active in the forum (actually this is my first post :P) but I do have a keen interest in investments, and would love to take part in the discussions, both as a moderator and as a contributor.

Also as a moderator (yes, adverts.ie moderators are mods too ), I know the ins and outs of the system, so adapting would be very easy.

I'd give it a belt - have an interest, posted here a few times, usually one of 3 fora I check each day.

Can only cover evening and weekends though....

I can cover anytime. I'm always on a computer or my BB. I also admin my own small forum so I am familiar with the V-bulliton layout.
