Sky Germany to stop showing weekend EPL

    ARD have reported that Sky Deutschland AG are to show more Bundesliga matches starting at the end of November 2009. The main changes will come at weekends, replacing many scheduled English Premier League matches (EPL).

    The news comes from the office of Dr. Hans-Jürgen Croissant. The report went on to say:

    Sky wish to broaden their sporting subscriber base in Germany, and believe that German customers would benefit from the showing of more Bundesliga at peak weekend viewing times.

    Sky Deutschland will continue to show mid week EPL

    Welcome Mr Murdoch to Germany. Would say the Germans will be well impressed with this after he doubled their subscriptions! Wonder if the increase in prices has anything to do with the poor uptake?

    But they already show all the Bundesliga matches Live as it is .How can they show more ??
    I guess they are going to change them to staggered time slots as in the UK .

    Its not a provider I watch much due to its poor 3pms...

    Nova on 23e - superb, probably the best picture quality ive seen

    How much is a nova card for 23east? its part of the czechlink package I think?

    Im not 2 sure how much it is but yes its part of czech link.

    The Greek Nova is also top drawer in my opinion. I am watching Chelsea v Blackburn on it at the moment with english commentary. The picture is good and they had Villa v Wolves on earlier also. Think I will stick with them for Liverpool v Man Utd tomorrow.

    The only thing that turns me off watching Nova is the lack of 16:9 output, its a gr8 package other than that

    have to agree totally that 23.5 e nova sports is the business. have most games i want to watch live. also the quality of nova sport hd is brill. even learning some czech from the ads - suppose i cant expect them to have them in english as well!:D
