Can I add surround sound directly to my PS3 ??

I wouldnt think so man, how would the sound travel?

It needs the optical cable which goes into the amp!

EDIT : Unless the are pre-amped or something? Like Monitor speakers?

My subwoofer has a optical cable socket at the back, I just bought myself one of those optical cables and connected it up to my PS3. Maybe you could ring up or email them to see if there is a socket on the one your looking at...

Looks like you may need an amp in between to decode the output from the PS3.

No you can't connect them in you'd need an amp to drive them, and decode the signal out of the PS3 to the speakers.

Most higher end systems you'd buy as separate an amp made by one company, set of speakers by the other.
So unfortunately this is all your looking at is a nice set of separate speaker.
