    Out of interest I'd like to invest €300 in Enel an Italian Energy company, whats the best way to do this?

    Talk to a stockbroker. There are ones that operate 'live' like Davy, NCB and Goodbody in Dublin and there are some online like Internaxx, E*Trade and TD Waterhouse.

    Also you could check here - it is pretty useful.

    Be careful of fees etc (20 - 50 euro) which will eat in to any possible profit on the way in and on the way out.
