Sorry, posted this is another thread but thought I'd give it its own.

So, another season has started and another 20 odd episodes of disappointment will surly ensue, each hoping to fulfil that excitement created by that first great season.

So we're on the 5th ep now and we should have a good idea of where this is going, but do we? Why do I still watch this week in week out so begrudgingly. But way more important is why when this show has well run its story arc and course will I still watch it to its smelly, bed ridden undignified death, which I will admit I know I will? Why?

Why this and not firefly. Then again, if this wasn't picked up after season 1, I'm sure we'd all put it on a pedestal much like I am with firefly. Could firefly have turned to the same sort of pathetic depths as heroes has only four seasons in. In all honesty I could have wrote this halfway through Season 2 when it lost its focus. But Brain Fuller gave me hope and I thought I saw it at the tail end of last season, but those dreams have faded, along with Fullers involvement, again!

I mean come on resorting to a lesbian storyline for ratings is cheap. But even cheaper is the cinematography, why can't the camera man hold the thing level, why always angles. Its too distracting and amateurish. Why not hire Irish people with real accents (I know its too much to ask, its American after all).

    Does anyone feel my pain!!!?

Tune in for more disappointment next week folks. I know I will

No shes not, she small, has an arse like a hippo, and two shades of hair on her head. By far the most annoying character in it. I could deal with her four years ago, but now she's legal!!!!!!!

I'm sorry but if you think that the lesbian story line is productive and in anyway interesting (beside from in a horny teenage boy way), then I may have just diagnosed you as a grade A philistine, and would warn you to stay away from all two and a half men are there will be no hope for you!!!;)

But really you thing this stands up to the first season? Really?

Well maybe I like a women with a hippo arse.
I'm not backing down on this one ~ I like lesbians :D

All jokes aside though, I think this is going to be a decent season. I like the storyline around Syler & the Carnies. Don't know how that's going to go. I think the lesbo plot is to keep the blokes tuned in but I was already a fan from season 1.

God, I never expect you to. I mean Jesus who doesn't, I too am quite taken by the lesbian community (ugly, bald ones excluded). And while I don't think Clare is hot, I'd still tap that!!

But my point being that in season 1, we didn't need a arc like that as the overall narrative and story progress was enough to keep even the horniest of people interested. But now is reliant on this.

I will however agree, that the Sylar direction is good, but that's always been a strong point of the show. But that's part of my point there is always a reason to see the next episode, but it is normally Sylar. Peter used to be such a great character, but now look at him, what a shambles of a hero. While I don't mind a shambolic protagonist, Peters character never deserved this, and the show does not benefit from it.

    I do like carnie folk!:D

    Peter's still great.

The lez story is lame but at least they're not, so far, giving Claire too much screen time.

    Sylar's story is interesting.

In fact the only thing that there really is to complain about this season is that it's, so far, moving quite slowly. I shan't complain about this, however, because the overall story and mystery of the carnie folk looks like it's gonna pay off.

I think this session is doing well, the ratings are increasing slowly.

Personally i think its as good as session 1 so far.

Wow, didn't even realise there was a new series... they kinda lost me at the start of series 3 after I blamed the writers strike for series 2.

I think Claire should get more air time, actually I think Claire should get all the air time. I think hayden panettiere should get as much air time as she wants
