    Hi all,

Usual boards.ie rules apply in this forum.

No advertising, no spamming, no trolling, no personal abuse of other posters etc.

    General
Be nice! It's simple, makes the forum a happy place to be for all users, PC and console alike.

    Mod decisions
Do not query mod decisions on-thread or attempt to engage in debate about those decisions. If you have a problem with a post in a thread use the report post button (report.gif) located under your avatar.

If you have a problem with a mod decision then you should PM a forum Mod (Steffano2002 or r3nu4l).

If you aren't happy with the moderator response then PM one of the Category Moderators (Silverfish, Mr E. or SierraOscar).

    Piracy
Don't ask for, or post links to any pirated warez-type material. Don't advocate piracy either.

    Hacked Lobbies
Please don't talk about hacked lobbies, PUBLIC or PRIVATE. No discussion of how to hack lobbies or linking to hacked lobbies.

    'Pro'-gamers
No console and casual gamer bashing.
Light-hearted banter is okay, constant 'Lol' and 'n00b' replies to threads about weapons and perk choices is not! Most people play this game for fun and enjoyment and like to use all features that the game provides. Live with it!

Remember that COD is available on consoles as well as PC and the majority of players don't give a stuff if 'PC is best for FPS', nor do they care about 'Promod'.

    Constructive posting
You may have discovered the glories of MW2 from the first day of release but believe it or not, some players only discovered it recently. Give newer players a break when they come looking for advice on the best sniping spots or maps to play. Post helpfully.

    Show respect to all players!

    Boosting:
Don't talk about it, don't mention it, it's cheating your way up the levels.

    Glitching
Don't ask for instructions or help with glitching in the game. Please refrain from linking to glitching instructions.

    Cheaters
Please do not name and shame cheaters, even if you have video evidence. While most of us detest cheaters with a passion, the practice of naming and shaming could lead to bullying and we really don't want that.

    Trash talk
Recently, some of the threads have begun to sound a bit like a game foyer when the 10 year old American kids are online. Please try to avoid the use of words such as 'bitch', 'fag' etc when referring to campers, glitchers or other forum members.

    Text speak
No text speak allowed, allow your fingers to fully roam across the keyboard and discover new letters while you're at it :)

I think I can sum this up by saying: 'Don't be a dick' :)

Updated to say that talking about hacked lobbies isn't allowed and to change names of CMods.
