With the cold mornings now was thinking of getting a pair of tights for the commute, has anyone come across a good pair lately. A pair with a padding would be ideal?

I've a few pairs Wiggle's dhb Merston bib tights which do the trick for me and at €50 are pretty good value. They have cheaper ones too, but I'm not sure what they're like.

How much are you prepared to spend? If money's no object, the Assos range are excellent. eg Airprotec LL FI

    ...a mere £175.99

I have one pair of tights for the coldest days, they are quite expensive and I prefer the flexibility offered by leg and knee warmers, so I can use my regular shorts.

As long as I have a baselayer on and my knees are covered, my legs tend to stay warm enough by themselves.

Cold Mornings? Where? Certainly not in Dublin. Been unseasonably balmy out recently, thankfully!
