    As the title says, Which VEC's have issued payments already. Im waiting on limerick county.

    Hmmm, I see one big problem here!!
    The closing date is the end of August, so if you applied in late Septmeber- you may not get anything

    Limerick county vec paid into the bank this morning for level 8 course. Thank god they have done away with collecting cheques.

    Not totally true!
    Depending on your local VEC office the may accept late applications. Mine (co dub vec) for example have extended thier date to january!! and i am sure if you were late they would have the decency to inform you.
    Mind you if you are only getting your forms in during january you may not be getting any grant till the summer. Now that would be rough!

    I applied to the Dublin VEC in August also, still haven't got the grant either. And as for calling them, its pointless. They won't even talk to you. I didn't even get as far as telling them who I was before I was fobbed off the phone and told that I'd hear back in due course.
