Well it would def be cheaper than getting gear over here but prob not as cheap as buying on line... Andorra is a tax free/reduced country but im not sure if it extends to clothes...

Pas de la casa is a great place, great night life...

It would be cheaper alright to buy over there. Try Capel Camping in Capel street, I got my jacket, salopettes, hat, gloves, socks, hat and goggles for under €150. Columbia jacket too.

Kildare Shopping Village & TK Maxx are good for bargains - you'd easily kit yourself out for about €100 salopettes, gloves & jacket.

Even Aldi/Lidl - they sell a set every year. A mate bought hers there, no complaints!

Even if it is cheaper out there, going without kit already means that you end up wasting a lot of your potential time on the slopes having to wander round the shops instead.

    jm99,
As said do you really want to be wasting your time shopping in a resort when you could be on the snow or in the bar?

TK Maxx is great if you get lucky and there are some good deals in the NIKE (Their ACG Ski gear is great) and North Face outlets in Kildare.

Resorts tend to have a captive market and although the hardware will be cheaper in Andora I think the clothing may not be as cheap as if you dont have it and you are in the village and need it there is a premium to be paid.

    Enjoy the holiday

A friend was in yesterday and there are salopettes for €30.

Got a great pair of salopettes here myself last year - went for goretex the whole shebang and they were about €60 reduced from €170. You could get cheaper too.

we were there two years ago and all of us bought some gear. We took the free bus into the capital, andorra la vella, stuff was cheaper there than in the resorts but you'll need some spanish!

Buy at home, but if you need anything out there get yourself along to Loaded in Soldeu, great snowboard shop.
