    Hi Folks

I'm heading with 3 others to Rio on the 1st of Nov. The plan was to stay 4 nights or so in Rio before moving on. Anyone any thoughts/advice on where to stay?
We were then thinking of heading to Buzios for a few days before making our way south to Florianopolis. Any suggestions of things to do/places to see on this coast?

    Cheers

    Gafferino

Parati, only 5 hours away from Rio, stay in Pousada Guarana, number one on trip advisor around 40 euro a night, amazing place, amazing people. Best place to go to in Brazil besides the jungle etc.

Islha Grandhe is just a bit south of Rio. Its a fantastic spot to chill out and go exploring islands, scuba diving etc. It is also home to one of the best beaches in the world. Cant remember the neam of it but I was there the summer before last and it was spectacular.
