iPod Touch Woe

    so today i decided to upgrade my ipod touch to 3.2.1. I then used a program named blackra1n to jailbreak this. Everything was going fine until the batter died totally. Plugged it in and tried turning it on, but the apple logo came up and then vanished back to a black screen. I then held the home button and then the sleep button together, whilst it's still plugged into the computer with itunes on. Then I pressed 'restore', however for some reason unknown to me, an error popped up saying that it was unable to restore fully.

    Now when I try to do that again, the iTouch seems to enter restore mode, but doesn't seem to be detected by iTunes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry for double post, but I got it working - will say how, just in case others encounter this problem;

    You need to go into your documents&settings folder on your c: drive -> User name -> Application Data -> find your apple folder and delete the .ispw file that is there.

    What you will need to do next is create a new User on your computer, log on to it and then open iTunes. When you have your iTouch plugged into the computer and put into restore mode, it will automatically download a new .ispw and it works then.

    Very long and annoying, but it got it working again, so I'm delighted.
