So from what I'm reading from DCM vets, at each water station the best thing to do is avoid the first table cos of the crowds and grab some water from the second or third table...So just to be sure, at each water station there is definitely a few tables??
Need to be sure or it'll be a very thirsty pudgey for a few miles!

There will be lots of water, lots and lots. They wouldn't be able to fit 15,000 bottles of water onto one table at each water station so there will be lots of tables and lots of water.

What you'll probably see is a queue of people lining up for the first person handing out water. Just ignore the queue, jog past it, and take your bottle from one of the dozen or so other people. It's a race, and there is absolutely no need to be standing in a queue.

Is there no Energiser or any other sports drink this year? From FAQ section on the DCM website it says water at the 9 stations. I think there is now 10 stations, but it says nothing about Energiser?

From the course map looks like there are 3 energiser stations and 2 sport Gel ones.

This is probably a dumb question, but will the water be bottled or in plastic cups? The cups for the adidas series were a nightmare!!

The water stations for the marathon is top class!

    Always plenty of water!

Last time I ran the marathon, I carried one of those easy-to-drink-from bottle caps with me. Put in on the bottles at the waterstation... makes it much easier to drink, then take it with you to next water station. Supplier is Ballygowan, so just buy a bottle before hand and carry the drink friendly cap with you.

I seem to remember it being the "sports" caps on the bottle last year as well.
