Hey i need to get a new laptop and my local mac retailer are selling a white one (not the new one the one that just got released the one before that) and microsoft office for 800 euro. I'd only be using it for word documents and internet browsing but it needs to be reliable. Should i take the mac offer or get a windows laptop instead? I've heard macs are very reliable

Sometimes they are, sometimes not at all
I would put the money (€800) towards a good spec'd machine, a Studio 15" or the likes on Dell, probably with a core i7 for the 800 euro ball park.
