I've read the threads about trapping mink and I was wondering what else you can trap here in Ireland. I know how to snare rabbits but what is the legality surrounding footholds, body grips, foxes & badgers etc... Is there a trapping license or something? I'm guessing it's probably illegal. Thanks in advance.

you can snare rabbits and foxes no problem i do regurally it is legal as they are classed as vermine but you must have the landowners permission and the snare isnt met to be one that strangles it and cuts breathing but one thats just holds it and they nee need to be checked regular eg once or twice a day
