Try a breakers yard for a spotlight. A bit of automotive wiring, a battery charger, a mototorbike or golfcart battery, a piece of broomhandle for a handle and a couple of battery clips will have you sorted. The lot for less than €100.

Keep in mind that when you buy a lamp you haven't got a battery yet. Expect to pay about €50-60 for a decent one.

    Try Radionics.

    Product code 233-342 50W 8deg halogen lamp €4.01

    537-5494 18Ah 12V battery good for 20min operation €40.42

Bits and pieces from local electrical supplier = €15

Should build one that would do the job...

Oh price excludes vat and delivery.

Or look out for a broken Lightforce lamp, buy it, and fix it yourself ;)

Or any second hand Lightforce on a forum or the Bay... Be much less hassle than makin one!

Here'a one I made up. BUT it's not anywhere as good as a lightforce 170. In fact I'd say a lightforce 140 would even be better.
It's good out to about 150m and would be better if a 12v 50watt H7 xeon lamp was used.
