    Has anyone here been there?
From what I gather it was fairly basic.
The idea seemed good but it didn't seem to push the cyclists onwards for whatever reason.
I know there are a few good Irish riders on the Sean Kelly team but DOL apart seem to be overshadowed by the Belgians, especially this year with Nico Eeckhout.
Sam Bennett is riding with the VC le Pomme team next year and they helped Ciaran Power and a good few other Irish riders in the 90's and early 00's so maybe focusing on getting riders in with established outfits might be the way to go.

The team is carrying on though isn't it? The impression I get from that is that the house isn't being used that much.

The team is almost definately continuing. This is just the Sean Kelly academy scheme and CI funding for the house in Belgium.
Nico Eeckhout is staying on AFAIK. Not too sure what the story is with the Irish lads though.
I heard talk that they were re-registering as a Belgian team to try to get entry to some of the higher ranked national races.
An Post seems dedicated to cycling here and I hope the sport doesn't lose them as a backer.

Is Belguim a bit 'old fashioned' now for a team base considering the spread of academys in Italy and Spain nowadays ?
