I bought a Nokia 5800XM over the weekend (Loving it BTW)
It has 8GB of memory and can transfer music and photos onto it perfectly. Only problem is that I cannot get movies to play. They transfer across but do no appear on my movies menue (or any other menu for that matter)

has anyone got any advice for me ?

    Cheers

    What format are they?

    How ya.
To get your movies to play on the 5800 (or n97) they need to be in MP4 format.
I use handbrake to convert divX movies.
Set your input file and then give it a title for when its converted.
Ensure that the format is set to mp4.
Set the video aspect ratio to "loose" and fill in the first box "640"(pixel width). This will give the original aspect ratio.
Click on the video tab and change the drop-down menu from H.264 to FFMPEG.
While there you can also set a limit for the file output.
    Click start!

I also have AnyDVD which sits in the background and allows Handbrake to copy copyrighted dvd's, that you own, of course.
