    Hi All,

Looking in the mirror today and I've decided to get botox. Only going for one area, between the eyes, i always look cross.
Anyone have any advise or where to go and how much I should expect to pay?
    Thanks,

    Dee

Be careful- I met someone recently who told me she had had Botox done and was pretty badly bruised- to the extent that someone said to her 'oh did you get Botox?'. It sounds like it's pretty common to get bruised.

I got botox on my forehead (i squint a lot!) I went to Dundrum Clinic coz they are the only clinic which charge by the amount used. I only had fine lines so I only needed a tiny small amount. It cost me €110 and if I had deeper lines it would cost me higher which is fair. I think it's great to pay for how much mil was used rather than pay the full price even though you only had fine lines
You should go in for a consultation in there and ask how much it'll cost you.
    good luck:)

As a doctor who does has done over 2000 treatments to date I can say bruising is not that common, about 1 in 40 to 1 in 60 treatments in my experience. Usually the bruise is small (like 1-2 mm) although if one was not careful you could cause bigger bruises. They last the same time as a normal bruise.

If a bruise would be unacceptable you shouldnt have treatment as it is possible.
