    2. UPS sent out a box by an post - Arrived Thursday:(
    3. Contacted UPS and they said they would pick it up on Thursday.:)
    4. UPS picked it up on Friday:(
    5. Got my phone back the next Tuesday:)

    Thanks Big Lar,

Hopefully they send out the box today and i get it tomor. Do ups mind where i get it picked up from?? Like if i get them to pick it up from my work?

As you can see the phone hasnt been stolen etc from a earlier thread, and for some reason apple ireland will do the repairs even tho its from O2 uk? strange unless they return it back to me and say it can not be repaired but the guy on the phone took my serial number and all...anyway thanks for your help in both threads

I'd say you could be looking at Monday assuming they'll just replace it.

My blue toothchip has given up the ghost and needs to be repaired.
I bought my phone up the north a year ago when the exchange rate was good.
im not worried about them not fixing it but it has to be unlocked for it to work on an irish network and if i get a replacement like some people here then i would have a phone on the new baseband and therefore unable to unlocked it is that correct?
also out of interest did anyone get a upgrade from 3g to 3gs then they got their replacement?

I was gona ask the same question. I have to get my iphone sent to apple i bought it last week its still under warranty but i unlocked and jailbroke it. then it froze yesterday and wont switch back on. so im hoping the replacement phone is 3.0 or 3.2 software and no the new 3.1.2.

Has any one got a relacement phone recently that can shed light on this?

    Cheers guys

You could be in trouble there, If the phone went back to apple with the jailbreak software still on it then you have broken the terms and conditions that you agreed to.
